From 18-20 May, Canberra 2020 will invite new perspectives on the museum and gallery sector’s role in creating the future. It will be an ambitious, imaginative and outward-looking program that questions assumptions. It will address our sector’s impact on communities, ecologies and economies.

Join us in Canberra to bring your perspective on building and fostering trust and empathy in the context of global challenges.

Victorian Museums & Galleries Conference

The Victorian Museums & Galleries Conference is curated to appeal to a broad audience, from large state institutions to small volunteer-run organisations, and brings together the Victorian museum, gallery, heritage, and conservation community, connecting regional and metropolitan volunteers and professionals, and showcasing some of the best museum and gallery practice, community-building projects, and local cultural heritage.

The Conference takes place every other year in regional Victoria, alternating with our Forum in Melbourne.
