2022 Victorian Museums and Galleries Awards

Without jinxing it...we are aiming to hold our awards IN PERSON for the first time in two years at the State Library Victoria! Celebrate the amazing achievements of the Victorian museum and gallery community and the people whose passion, resilience and work build a strong Victorian museum and gallery sector.

The evening will include:

  • Announcement of newly reaccredited MAP and CMAP organisations
  • Roslyn Lawry Award for excellence in Cultural Heritage & Museum Studies, presented by Deakin University
  • Victorian Collections Cataloguing Awards
  • AMaGA Victoria Awards, including the Martin Hallett Award for individual contribution to community heritage
  • Individual and Lifetime Achievement Awards for volunteers and museum professionals
  • Archival Survival Awards for volunteer-run and small organisations, and
  • AMaGA Victoria Awards for medium and large institutions
