
Museum (MAP) and Community Museum Accreditation (CMAP) Programs Launch

Join us to launch and celebrate the newly redeveloped Museum Accreditation Program and Community Museum Accreditation Program. This event will suit organisations already in MAP and CMAP as well serving as a preview for those interested in joining the programs in the future.
Learn about the new programs and processes including revised Accreditation and Reaccreditation. We will be sharing information about new program content, learning materials, and online networking & helpdesk function available via our new Accreditation portal.
The morning includes networking opportunities, morning tea and a tour of newly redeveloped Burrinja exhibitions and collections storage spaces.
Coinciding with NAIDOC Week 2022 two exhibitions at Burrinja will thematically be focusing on Birrarung/ Yarra River: in Gallery 02 Birrarung-dhum-djerring - speak-together, a multi-disciplinary project exploring themes of reconciliation and river ecology by artists Indigo Perry, Andrew Darling, Brooke Wandin, Ryan Tews, Hineani Tunoa Roberts, and in Gallery 01 a collaborative exhibition of paintings by Katie Roberts and Aunty Janet Turpie-Johnstone.
