Culture, Heritage and Arts Regional Tourism (CHART) Grants Program: Applications open
AMaGA is implementing the CHART program on behalf of the Federal Government’s Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications through the Office for the Arts. The $3 million CHART grants program is an initiative to support community arts, heritage, and cultural organisations in regional Australia as they recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
CHART supports domestic tourism into regional and remote areas of Australia. The program promotes participation in, and access to, Australia’s arts and culture through developing and supporting cultural expression and sharing stories of community and historical significance.
Grants of up to $3,000 are available in the 2021-22 financial year to support organisations to reinvigorate the preservation and presentation of Australia’s cultural heritage. CHART grants only support new projects.
Activities funded must be delivered by 30 June 2022.
Funding will be administered in one round, with applications assessed in batches of 100, on a first-come first-served basis. AMaGA strongly encourages eligible applicants to submit at the earliest opportunity.
Further details on eligibility and the grant program guidelines are available on AMaGA’s website: https://www.amaga.org.au/CHART
