RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2019 ROVING CURATOR PROGRAM
The Roving Curator Program supports the development of quality cultural exhibitions in Victoria. The program provides small museums and galleries with exhibition development assistance from MA (Vic)'s Roving Curator, including several days of professional on-site advice as well as follow-up support.
The four successful applicants are:
- Assistance with refreshing the Mansfield Timber Industry display.
PORT OF ECHUCA DISCOVERY CENTRE
- Assistance with the temporary exhibition People Who Shaped the Port
ROYAL HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF VICTORIA
- Mentoring with the West Melbourne Swamp exhibition, and advice on the RHSV Exhibition Policy and exhibition evaluation
YARRA PLENTY HERITAGE NETWORK with Nillumbik Shire Council and Yarra Plenty Regional Library
- Mentoring the development of a group exhibition at the Eltham Library Community Gallery, featuring local history collections from the district
