To fill the gaps left by the recent cancellation of face-to-face training and events AMaGA Victoria is working in partnership with the National Office to provide a series of online webinars, workshops and tutorials. We are in the process of converting previously scheduled in person events to digital platforms, whilst introducing a series of more responsive events. Victorian Collections CMS Information Session (Existing Users Only) [Past Event]

An information session designed for existing users of the Victorian Collections collection management system, to introduce the new features and functionality of the redeveloped system.
Topics covered will include: an overview of website changes, tour of GLAM item record types, demonstrations of new fields and features, demonstration of health guide and new support resources and helpdesk.
Towards the end of the session, we will catalogue using the new CMS, so please bring along an item from your collection, particularly if you have library, archive or gallery items to catalogue.
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is for existing users only and will not include regular digitisation or collection management training. If you are new to Victorian Collections, please attend an introductory workshop first, marked "Introductory Cataloguing Workshop".
